What is the matter?
A company had filed a complaint against Ram Gopal Varma in a cheque bounce case in 2018. Advocate Rajesh Kumar Patel, on behalf of the complainant company, had said in his complaint to the Magistrate Court that the company had been providing hard disks to Ram Gopal Varma for the past several years.
The allegation was that the company had provided hard disks to Ram Gopal Varma's firm from February 2018 to March 2018, on the basis of which he was to be paid Rs 2 lakh 38 thousand 220. In this case, the accused i.e. Ram Gopal Varma issued a cheque on 1 June 2018, but it bounced due to lack of funds. When Ram Gopal Varma's firm was informed about this matter, they issued the cheque again, but it was not accepted again. After this, legal action was taken against Ram Gopal Varma by the company.
