However, reaching the stage of marriage was not an easy road for the couple. So, when Alka Yagnik told her parents about her relationship with Neeraj, they did not want her to marry him. Since Neeraj Kapoor was a Shillong-based businessman, her parents believed that the long-distance relationship between the two could become a big problem in their married life.
