When the director tied Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor to a pole and instructed people not to open the rope
The stories of many blockbuster movies are so good that people like them a lot. Some stories related to that movie are equally good. Today we have brought one such story for you, which is of Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor's movie 'Andaz Apna Apna'. This was a comedy movie, which made the audience roll with laughter. There is a very interesting story related to this cult classic movie released in 1994, when the director of the movie Rajkumar Santoshi tied Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor to a pillar.
Karisma Kapoor had narrated this incident during an interview with Rajeev Masand. Karisma Kapoor had said, “At that time, shooting used to happen in 3-4 shifts. Shooting would go on from 9-10 pm to 5 am. Once, during the shooting, director Rajkumar Santoshi had tied Raveena and me to a pillar and even when the dinner break came, our ropes were not released. We were still tied to the pillar and we called out to be released.”
After tying him with a rope, the director gave him an ultimatum
During a conversation with Hindustan Times, Raveena Tandon had also said, “Karisma and I did not talk to each other. The director and others had also tried to bring us together. When we are tied to a pillar in a climax scene, the director came and gave us an ultimatum. He had said that until these two talk to each other, we will not open their ropes. He had also told the crew members not to open the ropes until these two talk to each other.” Raveena had said, “If we fought with each other, we also had a lot of fun.”
Raveena Tandon had said, “During the shooting, there were fights among the four of us. None of the four of us would talk to each other. Neither Aamir Khan and Salman Khan would talk to each other, nor would Karisma and I talk to each other. I don't know how that film became so good, but this definitely proves that all of us are very good actors.”
