This star actor died a day before Diwali

Telugu film actor Chandra Mohan has said goodbye to the world. The star actor passed away today at the age of 80 in a private hospital due to heart related ailments. Actor Chandra Mohan is survived by his wife Jalandhara and two daughters.

According to information received from family sources, the last rites of this actor will be performed in Hyderabad on Monday. A day before the festival of Diwali, the Telugu film industry will take a big blow. Bhai Chandra Mohan is the cousin of film producer K Vishwanath. He debuted in Telugu films in 1966 through the film Rangula Ratnam. His film was a big hit. He was given the Nandi Award for Best Actor for this film.

He was given the Filmfare Best Actor Award (Telugu) for the film Padharela Vayasu, released in 1978. He showed his brilliant acting in successful films like Siri Siri Muvva, Seethamalakshmi, Ram Robert Rahim, Radha Kalyanam, Rendu Relu Aaru and Chandamama Raave.
