The censor board cuts Shahid Kapoor's 'Deva', removes 6 seconds of this scene from the film.

Shahid Kapoor's most awaited film Deva is going to hit the theatres this Friday i.e. on 31st January. However, before this, once again the actor's film is facing cuts from the Central Board of Film Certification. It is being told in the news related to the film that before the release, Deva has been suggested by the CBFC to get a U/A certificate. After which a scene has been removed from the film.

After Teri Baat Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen in the cop drama Deva. However, the film has not yet received a certificate from the CBFC. The film is being directed by Roshan Andrews, who has been asked to remove the lip-lock scene between Shahid Kapoor and lead actress Pooja Hegde from the film. However, even before this, many scenes have been removed from the film, which include many words, gestures and dialogues.

6 seconds scene removed from Deva

After the CBFC asked, a 6-second scene has been removed from the film. After all the cuts, the run time of the film has become 2 hours, 36 minutes and 59 seconds. Apart from the cuts in the film, the CBFC has also sought clarification from the filmmakers about Hutatma Chowk, a historical place shown in Deva. Shahid's fans are eagerly waiting for the film. Earlier this film was going to be released on 14 October 2024, later it was changed to 14 February 2025, but later it has been decided to release it on 31 January.

Shahid Kapoor is going to be seen in the role of a policeman in Deva, although the actor is going to be seen in a different style in it. Pooja Hegde will be seen as a journalist in this film. Talking about the director of Deva, he has worked in the Malayalam industry and is making his Bollywood debut through this film. Deva is being produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, in a report about him it was told that he and the director of the film started working on it from the year 2023 itself.
