The country's youngest chess player D Gukesh recently won the FIDE World Championship match by defeating China's Ding Liren. D Gukesh has created history by winning the youngest world championship title. The World Chess Championship 2024 was held in Singapore from 25 November to 12 December. The whole country congratulated D Gukesh on his victory. Now South superstar Rajinikanth invited D Gukesh to his home and met him at his residence in Chennai, the photos of which are going viral on social media.
D Gukesh has shared photos with Rajinikanth on his X account. His parents are also seen in these photos. Thalaiva has also given some special gifts to the chess champion during this special meeting. The first gift was a silk shawl and the second gift was a book.

Rajinikanth gifted Paramahansa Yogananda's 1946 spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi to Gukesh. Sharing the photos, Gukesh wrote in the caption, "Thank you Superstar @rajinikanth sir for your warm wishes and for inviting us, spending time with us and sharing your knowledge." Talking about Gukesh's championship, this match reached the final with 6.5-6.5. Gukesh performed his best and defeated Ding Liren 7.5. After the victory, Gukesh became very happy and tears came to his eyes. In a press conference after the victory, he called it the best moment of his life.
