Despite being a remake, the film has gained huge popularity and achieved the title of the third highest opening of the year after “Fighter” and “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan”. Directed by Vikas Bahal, this film has earned around 150 crores in India which is fantastic for this genre. About The Movie

Shaitan revolves around a happy family whose lives are turned upside down when a stranger steps into their house. The film is presented by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios International and produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.

Vikas Bahl directed this film despite having little to no knowledge about the supernatural thriller.

Sharing how Vikas decided to direct this film, he said, “I don't watch many supernatural thrillers or horror films, so I have very little knowledge about that genre. But when I heard the story of Shaitan, I liked it very much and felt that this story must be told. At that time, it was quite a challenge for me to tell a story in which I was completely new. So I thought let's take on this challenge and see where it goes. And I must say, working on Shaitan and making it was a great experience.”
