Samay Raina gets relief from Mumbai Police, Ranveer Allahabadia still out of contact, phone switched off

Samay Raina was called to record his statement before the police on February 18 in the objectionable comment case about his parents. However, he had requested the police to give him some time as he is in America these days. Earlier the police had rejected his demand, but now the news is that he has been given some time.

Mumbai Police has given relief to Samay. According to news agency PTI, on the request of Samay Raina's lawyer, he has been given time till March 10. After that he will have to appear and record his statement. Samay Raina had said that he has shows in America on February 16 and 20. Apart from this, he has to do shows in March as well.

Ranveer Allahabadia's phone is still switched off

Podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia had also demanded from the police that his statement be recorded at his home. He had made this demand citing his security, but the police did not accept his demand and then issued him a summons again. Recently, when the police reached his Versova house, it was locked and Ranveer was not there. The latest update in this case is that Ranveer is still out of contact with the police. His phone is also switched off.

Ranveer Allahabadia had made objectionable comments about parents on Samay Raina's show. He has been summoned twice. However, no one knows where he is now. The police are looking for him, but they are unable to contact him.

Will have to appear before Assam Police as well

Although Raina has got relief from Mumbai Police, he has not been given time by Assam Police yet. A case has been registered against him in Guwahati as well and he has been asked to appear at Guwahati Police Headquarters on 18 February.
