Shubh expressed his disappointment over the cancellation of the show, saying that he had been preparing for the show for two months and was eagerly waiting for the event in India. In his Instagram post, he said, "India is my country too. I was very excited to perform in my own country, in front of my own people. I had been preparing for this for a long time and had been practicing wholeheartedly for the last 2 months. I was doing it, but I think destiny had other wishes."

Emphasizing his connection with Punjab and his roots, Shubh said, “As a young rapper-singer coming from Punjab, he had a dream of taking his music to the international level, but recent events have shattered my connection.
