Pakistani comedian Umar Sharif's condition deteriorates, wife appeals to PM Imran Khan for help

According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Sharif's message was broadcast in the 11th hour of Wasim Badami's ARY News talk show. Sharif said in his message, 'The doctor has told me that I need to go abroad for better treatment. I helped build Imran Khan's Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital. I appeal to Prime Minister Imran Khan to help me. Like whenever they called me I have gone, today I need them. They have to help me.'
Will have to be taken abroad soon
According to reports, Omar Sharif's health is so bad that he is slowly losing his memory. Talking about her husband Omar's health, Zareen said that she is currently confined to a wheelchair and needs immediate treatment by US specialists. Doctors say that if he is not able to go to America within the coming 15-20 days, then he will have to undergo open-heart surgery here, which can prove fatal for his life. Zareen has appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to help him so that he can be taken to America and treated.
Government assured help
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill has responded to Sharif's request. He expressed grief over the condition of Omar Sharif. Also assured that the government will help them. "I will personally send Sharif's message to Prime Minister Imran Khan. We will also contact you abroad. I will try to arrange for their treatment.
