Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has made his special identity on the basis of brilliant acting. Big news has come about this actor. The news is that Shahid Kapoor can now be seen playing the role of Ashwatthama on the silver screen.

According to reports, director Aditya Dhar has now announced the making of Immortal of Ashwatthama. He was keen to cast Vicky Kaushal in the role of Ashwatthama, but due to budget constraints the project had to be shelved. Now news has come that Vasu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani are going to work on this ambitious project. It is being told that Shahid Kapoor has been signed for this film. 

The Shahid Kapoor starrer film is based on the Hindu epic Mahabharata and will depict the life of Ashwatthama, the son of Guru Dronacharya. 

Currently the script of the film is being worked on. If all goes well, the shooting of the film will start in August next year. This film will be directed by Kannada filmmaker Sachin Ravi.
