No regrets… Aamir Khan said on leaving Shahrukh-Salman's blockbuster films.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan spoke on a number of topics during the launch event of 'Aamir Khan: Magician of Cinema' on the occasion of his 60th birthday. 'Pvr-Inox' organized this special film festival to remember Aamir's contribution to Indian cinema.
During this, Aamir Khan said that he had rejected many film offers in his career. But he has no regrets about this. In his career, the actor had rejected Shahrukh Khan's film Darr, Sanjay Dutt's Munnabhai series, and Salman Khan's blockbuster film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Aamir said about rejecting Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol's film Darr - 'I was doing a film called Darr, but in the end I did not work in it. There were some other reasons for it, I did not leave the film for creative reasons.'
He said- 'I think whatever happened, it happened for the better. I still feel that Shahrukh was a little better for the character that Yash ji had imagined. If I had done that film, it would have been different because I was looking at it differently. I really don't regret it. It was a good film and was successful.' Aamir Khan also said that he got an offer for the successful film Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2015. But Aamir refused to work in this film and suggested Salman Khan for this role.
Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's bonding is old. Both of them gave films like 3 Idiots and PK together. But their relationship would have been even older if Aamir Khan had not rejected the film Munnabhai MBBS. Later this film franchise went to Sanjay Dutt and it was a superhit.
Now, in celebration of Aamir Khan, 22 of his films will be screened one after the other. The excitement of the fans is at its peak. Once again, fans are eager to watch their favourite superstar's blockbuster films in theatres which they have already seen on TV. These include films like Tare Zameen Par, Sarfarosh, Dangal, PK, 3 Idiots, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
