Maharashtra Assembly Election Result: Who won the seat where Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan cast their votes?

Elections were held for 288 seats in Maharashtra Assembly. Their counting is happening on 23 November. One of these seats is Bandra West. This is the same seat for which Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan voted. This time also they cast their vote. Both of them have the same polling booth. They went to vote at the polling booth of Mount Mary School in Bandra West. Apart from Shahrukh and Salman Khan, many celebrities like Subhash Ghai, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Aamir Khan, Shabana Azmi, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao also go to different polling booths of Bandra West to vote.

When the counting started, there was a tough fight between Ashish Shelar (BJP) and Asif Zakaria (Congress) on this seat, but now Ashish seems to be ahead by a big margin. At the time of writing the news, he was ahead by about 25000 votes. His lead over Congress candidate Asif Zakaria is pointing towards BJP's victory.

BJP is in power for the last 10 years

Ashish Shelar has been in possession of the Bandra West seat for the last 10 years. He was being considered a contender for victory this time too, which seems to be true. After delimitation in 2008, this area came to be known as Bandra West. Earlier, this area came under Bandra Assembly.

Baba Siddiqui also had a seat

This seat has also been the seat of Baba Siddiqui. He was shot dead recently. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for this. He is considered close to Salman Khan. After Siddiqui's murder, Salman's security was increased, he even went to cast his vote amid tight security. Anyway, in the 2009 assembly elections, Siddiqui won here by taking a ticket from Congress. Currently, Ashish Shelar of BJP is the MLA from here since 2014.
