Actor Sidharth Shukla, one of the entertainment industry's most stalwart stars, passed away on September 2, leaving his friends and family shocked and saddened. Siddhartha is survived by his mother and two sisters. The actor's family has now issued a statement saying that Siddharth will remain in our hearts forever. He also thanked the Mumbai Police for their help.

Siddhartha died of a heart attack at the age of 40. His body was brought from Cooper Hospital-Mumbai in an ambulance adorned with flowers. Siddharth was cremated on Friday (September 3) at the Oshiwara crematorium in the presence of his family, roomer girlfriend Shahnaz Gill, his brother Shahbaz and close friends.

Members of the television industry, friends, and family members were present at the funeral at the Oshiwara crematorium on Friday afternoon. Jai Bhanushali, Mahi Vij, Aly Goni, Asim Riaz, Rahul Mahajan, Vikas Gupta, Abhinav Shukla, Karanvir Bohra, Shefali Jariwala, and Darshan Rawal among others reached the crematorium to bid their last farewell to Siddharth.
