Shreyas Talpade's wife has shared a major health update after he suffered a heart attack after shooting for Welcome 3. He revealed that his condition is now stable and he will be released from the hospital soon.

In an official statement issued by her, she said, "I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of concern and well wishes following my husband's recent health scare. I am relieved to tell everyone that he is now in a stable condition. And will be discharged in a few days. The exceptional care and timely response of the medical team have played a vital role during this time, and we are grateful for their expertise. We request respect for your privacy.''

On Thursday night, Shreyas's wife took him to the hospital after he complained of uneasiness, however, he collapsed on the way. The portal quoted an unnamed source as confirming Shreyas's health condition and saying, "He shot all day long, was absolutely fine, and was joking with everyone on the set. He also shot scenes that had some action. After finishing the shoot, he went back home and told his wife that he was feeling uncomfortable. She took him to the hospital but he collapsed on the way."

Shreyas made his Bollywood debut with the critically acclaimed and commercial hit, Nagesh Kukunoor's Iqbal (2005). After a successful debut, Shreyas was seen in other popular films like Apna Sapna Money Money, Om Shanti Om, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Housefull 2 ​​, and Golmaal Again. The actor made his directorial debut with the film Poster Boys starring Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.
