In his podcast conversation with Nadir Ali, Pakistani comedian Iftikhar Thakur praised Kapil Sharma and said, “Kapil is very grounded. If you talk to him or meet him, you would not realize that he is such a big star. Since he is a star, he must have an attitude, but he doesn't. When you meet him, you will feel that he is your childhood friend. He hugs you and immediately you are relaxed."

Iftikhar has previously worked with Punjabi actress Neeru Bajwa in the film Maa Da Laadla and recalling his first meeting with the actress, the comedian said, “My first meeting with her, we just said hello. They made such wonderful tea with cardamom. She doesn't think she is a big star. Iftikhar also said that Indian artists are more professional than their Pakistani counterparts and they rehearse well, are punctual, and always come prepared.
