Dahaad trailer: Sonakshi Sinha is 'Lady Singham', who will hunt down the serial killer responsible for 27 deaths!

The makers of Sonakshi Sinha starrer series Dahad have finally released the trailer of the upcoming crime drama which also stars Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles. The series is created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar and directed by Kagti along with Ruchika Oberoi.

Dahad, which marks the digital debut of Sonakshi Sinha, revolves around the suspicious murders of 27 women. Sonakshi Sinha plays a female police officer who tries to solve a gruesome murder case along with a ruthless criminal. The series is an 8-part crime drama that follows Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhati and her colleagues at a small town police station.

It all begins when several women are mysteriously found dead in a public bathroom, sub-inspector Anjali Bhati is assigned the task of investigating. At first, the deaths clearly appear to be suicides, but as cases unfold, Anjali begins to suspect that a serial killer is roaming freely. What follows is an interesting game of cat and mouse between a seasoned criminal and a downtrodden cop as she pieces together the evidence before yet another innocent woman's life is lost.

Produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby, the series stars Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Verma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah in lead roles. Roar is directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, with Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Reema Kagti as executive producers of the series.
