A shocking incident took place in Bharuch city of Gujarat on Monday. Here a person tore the screen of a theater during the screening of Vicky Kaushal's recent film 'Chhava'. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. In this, the accused can be seen vandalizing.
The man vandalized
According to media reports, this incident happened on Sunday night. It is being told that the last show of the film was going on in RK Cinema when a man named Jayesh Vasava committed the incident while being drunk. There was a scene between Aurangzeb and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film, in which Aurangzeb was shown torturing Sambhaji Maharaj. Seeing this, Jayesh Vasava lost control with anger and started damaging the screen of the theater.
Torn screen in drunken state
He climbed on the stage in a drunken state and damaged the screen with a fire extinguisher. He then tore the screen with his bare hands. This act caused chaos in the theatre and he was escorted out by local security personnel and multiplex staff.
Loss of about 1.5 lakh
Jayesh Vasava also abused a female employee when she tried to stop him from damaging the theatre. The general manager of the theatre expressed grief over the incident and said that the theatre has suffered a loss of about Rs 1.5 lakh due to this violence. Apart from this, many shows scheduled for Monday had to be cancelled and those shows had to be rescheduled.
