Box office collection: Gadar 2 touched the figure of Rs 500 crore, broke this record of Pathan

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol and actress Ameesha Patel starrer film Gadar 2 has touched the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office. This has become the first film of Sunny Deol to achieve this feat.

Gadar: Ek Prem Katha's sequel Gadar 2 has once again seen the brilliant acting of Sunny and Ameesha pair. This film was released in theaters on August 11.

Gadar 2 crossed the 500 crore mark at the domestic box office in 24 days after earning 284 crores in the first week. Gadar 2 has left Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan behind in crossing this figure in less days. Pathan had touched the figure of 500 crores in 28 days.

Prabhas' film Baahubali 2 took 34 days to touch this figure at the domestic box office. Gadar 2 stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel as well as Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha in stellar performances.
