'All We Imagine As Light' has been in the news for quite some time. This film, directed by Payal Kapadia, has brought pride to the country across the world. Recently, this film was also nominated for the 78th BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards) award, it was nominated in the Best Non-English Film category. However, 'All We Imagine As Light' missed this award and was defeated by the Spanish language French musical crime drama 'Emilia Perez'.

This film starring Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha and Chaaya Kadam has made its place in many big award nominations. Earlier, this film was also nominated for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, but it missed that too. Talking about the BAFTA Awards, its winner list was announced on Sunday, i.e. 16 February, at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Apart from 'All We Imagine As Light' and 'Emilia Perez', the nominations for BAFTA Best Non-English Film also included Portuguese 'I'm Still Here', Irish 'Knee Cap', and Persian 'The Seed of the Sacred Fig'. 'Emilia Perez' has won out of all these films. This film was nominated for 13 different categories in the Oscars. This film also defeated 'All We Imagine As Light' in the Golden Globe Award.
