Bafta Awards 2025: Payal Kapadia's dream shattered, 'All We Imagine As Light' was defeated by this French film

However, 'All We Imagine As Light' missed this award and was defeated by the Spanish language French musical crime drama 'Emilia Perez'.

Earlier, this film was also nominated for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, but it missed that too. Talking about the BAFTA Awards, its winner list was announced on Sunday, i.e. 16 February, at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Apart from 'All We Imagine As Light' and 'Emilia Perez', the nominations for BAFTA Best Non-English Film also included Portuguese 'I'm Still Here', Irish 'Knee Cap', and Persian 'The Seed of the Sacred Fig'. 'Emilia Perez' has won out of all these films. This film was nominated for 13 different categories in the Oscars. This film also defeated 'All We Imagine As Light' in the Golden Globe Award.
