Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and his family are going through a tough time these days. On one hand, the entire family is in shock after the attack on Saif. Meanwhile, big news is coming about the Pataudi family's property worth crores. It is being said that the Toudi family's property worth 15 thousand crores may come into the possession of the central government. This case is related to Pataudi family's property worth 15 thousand crores in Bhopal which can be seized by the government under the Enemy Property Act. Let's know the case...

In fact, the stay that has been going on for the last 10 years in the case of enemy property on the property of the historical princely state in Bhopal is now over. After this, the Madhya Pradesh High Court Jabalpur gave time to file a claim on the property of the Pataudi family, but they did not file their case in time. The Madhya Pradesh High Court (Jabalpur) has granted 30 days to present their case before the appellate authority in the hostile property case of actor Saif Ali Khan, mother Sharmila Tagore, sisters Soha and Saba Ali Khan and sister Sabiha Sultan of Pataudi. Time was given. This period has now expired and has not been claimed by the family.

The Enemy Property Act was enacted in 1968. Under this, those who migrated to Pakistan after partition have the rights of the central government over their properties left in India. It was only in 2015 that the government made it clear that the legal heir to Nawab Hamidullah Khan's estate was his elder daughter Abida. She moved to Pakistan so now this property of hers comes under the Enemy Property Act. At the same time, the descendants of the Nawab's second daughter Sajida Sultan (Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore) are submitting their claim on this property.

The actor challenged the declaration of his property as enemy property in 2014. He said that his property is not enemy property. In this case, the action of the Enemy Property Department was wrong. This challenge made the entire controversy even more complicated, however, on 13 December the petitions of Saif Ali Khan, his mother Sharmila Tagore and Sabia Sultan were dismissed.

What is the way forward for Saif?

Saif Ali Khan's family still has one more chance as they can file an appeal in the double bench of the High Court. If they file an appeal and the court rules in their favour, the crisis hanging over their property can be removed.
