Amitabh Bachchan admitted to Kokilaben Hospital: Report

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. Details regarding health have not been revealed yet. Navbharat Times had quoted sources as saying that angioplasty has been done due to a clot in Amitabh Bachchan's leg, although there has been no official confirmation in this regard.

Just hours before the news of his hospitalization broke, Amitabh Bachchan had written on Instagram, "T4950 - In gratitude ever.." and had also promoted the Majhi Mumbai team to the Indian Premier League.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in Nag Ashwin's upcoming film 'Kalki 2898 AD' alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. This film will be full of sci-fi and is based on the background of Indian mythology.

'Kalki 2898 AD' is all set to release on screens on 9th May. Apart from this, Amitabh Bachchan will also be reuniting with Rajinikanth after 33 years. The pair is all set to share the frame in Thalaivar 170 and it was shot last year.
