Alia Bhatt's Jigra stuck in box office controversy, Karan Johar hits back at the actress's allegations! Called her a fool
After director-actress Divya Khosla's comment on Alia Bhatt's Zirgra's box office collection, now Karan Johar has also started hitting back without taking any names.
The tension between director-actress Divya Khosla and producer Karan Johar seems to be intensifying. The matter started when Divya commented on Alia Bhatt's film 'Jigra'. The actress accused Alia of buying the tickets for the film, after which now a confrontation started between Karan Johar and her on this film produced by Dharma Productions. On Sunday, a round of allegations and counter-allegations started between the two. Both started taking a dig at each other on their respective social media handles without naming each other.
Karan called Divya a fool without naming her in his Instagram story section. He wrote, "Silence is the best answer for fools." Divya replied on her Instagram story, "The truth always inflames the fools who stand against it."
Responding to Karan Johar's post, Divya wrote in another story, "When you get used to shamelessly stealing what belongs to others, you will always remain silent. You will have no voice, no spine."
According to media reports, Alia's film 'Jigra' earned Rs 4.5 crore on the first day in India. However, Divya was not at all sure about the collections as she feels that the film's collections have been made at the behest of the production house behind 'Jigra', which is considered one of the leading film studios of Hindi cinema.
Interestingly, one common thing between Divya's 'Savi' and Alia Bhatt's 'Jigra' is that in Savi, Divya struggles to save her husband. On the other hand, in Jigra, Alia is seen saving her brother. While 'Savi' earned only Rs 7.83 crore in two weeks, Alia's 'Jigra' earned Rs 4.5 crore on its first day. While the film's collection on the first weekend reached 15 crore.
