Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday revealed her new role as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and her plans to join politics.

During a conversation at the Times Now Summit, when Kangana was asked if she already had plans to enter politics, she said, “The decision is always the party's but I have always openly supported the BJP, even though I am not a member of the party.” Am I a member or not? I've always felt that the natural alignment of my ideology or personality has always been that of a flamboyant right-winger or a proud right-wing personality.
