Advance booking of more than 10 crores in 24 hours of Jawan, broke Pathan's all-time record!

After making a blockbuster comeback on the big screen with Pathan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to enthrall the audience yet again with his upcoming film Jawan. The advance booking for the film opened yesterday in India and 165K tickets have already been sold.
According to Sacknilk, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan has recorded the highest pre-sales of any Bollywood film in the first 24 hours. The advance booking of the film has crossed Rs 10 crore gross collection with 305K tickets sold in the first 24 hours. The film has sold around 165K tickets across three national chains PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis within 24 hours, breaking Pathan's record of 117K tickets.
If advance bookings continue at this pace, the film may also break the record of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 for selling the most tickets on opening day (650K tickets) at PIC.
Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi as well as Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. The film is made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore and is Shah Rukh's costliest film to date.
Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film will also see an action-packed cameo by Deepika Padukone and is scheduled to release in theaters on September 7. Recently, the makers took the internet by storm by releasing the trailer of the film, not only this, the trailer was also screened on Burj Khalifa, with over 20,000 fans present.
Meanwhile, apart from Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in a special appearance in Salman Khan's Tiger 3. The pair are said to be seen in an action-packed role in the film and fans can't wait to see them again. Screen after Pathan.
