Renowned comedian Raju Srivastava passed away at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi due to a heart attack. He suffered a heart attack during a workout in the gym and was treated. But the doctors declared him brain dead. Raju Srivastava, who was fighting a battle with death for several days, finally breathed his last today. Raju's real name is Satyaprakash Srivastava. Born in Kanpur, he is the president of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council. He and his family had received death threats a few years back. He was also told that these calls were being made from Pakistan. He was receiving death threats from Karachi and Dubai. He had also lodged an FIR against this.

On the work front, Raju's career started with the show 'Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Many characters like Gajodhar, and Raju Bhaiya played by him became very popular. He has also acted in some films. It is also said that he has done more than three thousand stage shows till now. Born in a middle-class family, he wanted to become a comedian since childhood.
