Akshay Kumar, who yearned for stupendous success in his last three films 'Bellbottom', 'Atrangi Re' and 'Bachchan Pandey', is on test in his film 'Prithviraj Chauhan'. The trailer of the film released in Mumbai on Monday. Excited about this film, Akshay Kumar says, 'Never in my career of 30 years have I worked in any historical film. It is a matter of pride for me to be a part of this film. Akshay Kumar himself says that he has worked very hard for this film. While doing this film, he was surprised to know that people do not know much about such a great warrior of India.


Akshay Kumar says, 'I am blessed to play such a great warrior for the first time. For this I would like to thank the film's writer director Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi and producer Aditya Chopra. I remember the day when Dr. Saheb gave me the book Prithviraj Raso to read. I read the book but some of its words are so difficult that I could not understand. Then the doctor sahib used to explain to me. Akshay also believes that very little is read about Prithviraj Chauhan in Indian history. He says, 'After doing this film, it was understood that he was not only such a great warrior but also a person who forgives enemies and protects the honor of women. It is an educational film. I want every child to watch this film and request the government to show this film in schools.


At the trailer launch of the film 'Prithviraj', Akshay was asked whether he would like to show this film to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well? On this Akshay Kumar says, 'Who am I to show him the film? If you have to see them, you will see for yourself.
