Born on August 11, 1985 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Jacqueline Fernandez's early education took place in Bahrain. After this, the actress completed a course in Mass Communication from the University of Sydney, Australia. Jacqueline, who aspired to become a Hollywood star since childhood, took training from John School of Acting to fulfill her hobby. After completing her course, the actress returned to her home country of Sri Lanka and started her career in reporting as well as modeling. During this time she also participated in many beauty pageants and in 2006 she was crowned as Miss Universe Sri Lanka. After achieving success in modeling, Jacqueline started getting projects abroad as well.
