Stock Market : Market closed at flat level, slight decline in Sensex, rise in Nifty
Today, the third trading day of the week i.e. on Wednesday, the stock market closed at a flat level after the day's volatility. The Bombay Stock Exchange's flagship index Sensex closed down 14.77 points (0.03 percent) marginally at 55,944.21. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 16,634.65 with a gain of 10.05 points (0.06 percent). During trading, the Sensex touched a high of 56198.13 and the Nifty touched a high of 16,712.45. Last week, the BSE 30-share Sensex fell 107.97 points or 0.19 percent.
Shares of Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance rose to the highest level
Today the share price of Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance touched the highest level for the second consecutive session. The share of Bajaj Finserv rose to 16807.60 on the BSE. In the end, it closed at 15994.45, down 2.92 percent. At the same time, the share of Bajaj Finance reached 7052.00 during trading. In the end, it closed at 6921.50, down 0.82 percent.
Such was the condition of giant stocks
Talking about the big stocks, after the day's trading, the shares of Adani Ports, HDFC Life, Hindalco, ONGC, and Coal India closed on the green mark. On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Titan, Maruti, Bharti Airtel, and Dr. Reddy's shares closed on the red mark.
Keeping an eye on the sectoral index
If we look at the sectoral index, today all the sectors except metal, IT, and FMCG closed on the red mark. These include financial services, banks, PSU banks, pharma, auto, realty, media, and private banks.
The market was open on the green mark in the early trade
The stock market was open on the green mark in early trading. The Sensex opened up 124.90 points (0.22 percent) at the level of 56083.88. Nifty opened at 16670.40 with a gain of 45.80 points (0.28 percent).
Sensex-Nifty closed on the edge on Tuesday
The stock market closed with a strong jump on Tuesday after a day's ups and downs. The Sensex closed at 55,958.98, up 403.19 points (0.73 per cent). On the other hand, Nifty closed at 16,624.60 with a gain of 128.15 points (0.78 percent).
