The domestic stock market is closed on this occasion. Today the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) are not trading. There will be no business in the domestic market on September 11 and 12, i.e. Saturday and Sunday also. On September 13, 2021, trading will resume normally in the stock market.

Commodity and forex markets are also closed today on Ganesh Chaturthi. There is no trading in the wholesale commodity market including metals and bullion. Trading will start after 5 pm on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX). It is known that the evening session in the commodity segment starts at 5 pm. At the same time, business is done in the morning session from 9 am to 5 pm.

The stock market opened on the red mark on the last trading day. The Sensex opened at 58157.50, down 92.76 points (0.16 percent). The Nifty opened at 17317.30 with a fall of 36.20 points (0.21 percent).
Sensex-Nifty closed on the green mark on Thursday
On Thursday, the stock market closed on the rise after the day's ups and downs. The Sensex closed at 58,305.07 with a gain of 54.81 points (0.09 percent).
On the other hand, Nifty closed at 17,369.25 with a gain of 15.75 points (0.09 percent).
