Share Market Today : Market opened on slight gains, Sensex crosses 57300, Nifty also jumped
Today, the fourth trading day of the week i.e. on Thursday, the stock market opened again with a slight increase. The Bombay Stock Exchange's major index Sensex opened at 57375.63 with a gain of 37.42 points (0.07 percent). The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange opened at 17083.80 with a gain of 7.50 points (0.04 percent). In early trade, 977 shares rose, 392 shares declined and 74 shares remained unchanged. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex had gained 795.40 points or 1.43 percent.

Talking about the big stocks, during the early trade today, Dr. Reddy, Titan, UltraTech Cement, Sun Pharma, Axis Bank, TCS, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Hindustan Unilever, IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, M Shares of & M, Bajaj Finance, Kotak Bank, NTPC, SBI, Maruti, HDFC, Reliance, and Bajaj Auto opened on the green mark. While Nestle India, ITC, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, Power Grid, HCL Tech, and Infosys shares opened on the red mark.

During the pre-open at 9.02 am, the Sensex was up 82.37 points (0.14 percent) at the level of 57,420.58. While the Nifty was up 59.90 points (0.35 percent) at 17,136.20.
Sensex-Nifty closed on the red mark on Wednesday
On Wednesday, the stock market closed on the red mark after the day's volatility on profit-booking. The Sensex closed at 57,338.21, down 214.18 points (0.37 per cent). On the other hand, the Nifty closed at 17,076.25, down 55.95 points (0.33 percent). During trading, the Sensex touched a record level of 57918.71 and Nifty 17,225.75.

The stock market started at a record low in the previous session. The Sensex opened at 57,682.17 with a gain of 129.78 points (0.23 percent). Nifty opened at 17,168.80 with a gain of 36.60 points (0.21 percent).
