Rs 2000 note: Rs 2000 notes will not be valid here from September 19, this is the big reason revealed

Rs 2000 notes have gone out of circulation and the last date to exchange them is 30th September. In such a situation, if you still have Rs 2000 notes, you can exchange them in the bank. Along with this, the largest e-commerce company Amazon has also given new information regarding Rs 2000.

Let us tell you that a new rule has also been made, now the e-commerce giant has refused to accept Rs 2000 notes on cash on delivery service. The e-commerce company has said that from September 19, Rs 2,000 notes will not be accepted as cash for cash on delivery payments and cashload.

If media reports are to be believed, Amazon said in the note that it is currently accepting currency notes of Rs 2,000. However, Rs 2000 currency note will not be accepted from September 19, 2023. 

RBI had announced that

if you still have Rs 2000 note, you can exchange it from the nearest bank branch. On May 19, 2023, RBI removed Rs 2000 notes from circulation. Also, time was given till 30th September to exchange these notes.
