The process of exchanging Rs 2,000 notes in banks has started today. In this regard, guidelines have also been issued by the Reserve Bank of India for the banks. The work of exchanging notes in banks will continue till 30 September.

Under some guidelines of RBI to exchange 2000 notes, people will not have to fill out any form nor show any ID proof. Within a limit, a person can get these notes exchanged. That is, people will have a chance to exchange only ten notes at a time.

Although there is no limit for depositing 2000 rupee notes in the bank account. You can deposit any amount in your account. For this, you have to follow the rules related to deposits of banks.
