Countrymen are busy in getting their Rs 2,000 notes exchanged in banks. People will have a chance to exchange their notes till September 30. According to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, people will have the opportunity to exchange 10 notes of 2000 rupees at one go without any documents.

If you want to change more notes in the bank, then you have to use PAN card. Today we are going to inform you that for depositing how many notes, PAN card details will also have to be given. 

On depositing Rs 2,000 notes of more than Rs 50,000 in a bank account, PAN card details will have to be given to the bank. According to the rule of Income Tax Act, according to 114B, a person has to give details of PAN card for depositing cash of more than fifty thousand rupees in a day through bank account or post office. According to this, to deposit 25 or more notes of 2000 rupees in your account, you will have to give details of PAN card.
