Rajasthan: Petrol pumps closed for two days, operators gave this warning to the government

Petrol pumps in Rajasthan will remain closed for two days from today. Petrol pump operators across the state have taken this big decision in protest against higher VAT on fuel in Rajasthan. Today, on Wednesday and Thursday, petrol pumps will remain closed in Rajasthan from 10 am to 6 pm.

Petrol pumps are closed on Wednesday. Due to the announcement of the bandh, a huge crowd of people was seen in the state on Tuesday night and before 10 am today. People had to wait a long time for petrol and diesel. 

According to reports, State President of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, Rajendra Singh Bhati informed in this regard that the decision to close petrol pumps in the state has been taken in protest against the high Value Added Tax (VAT) on fuel in the state. Bhati warned of an indefinite strike from September 15 if the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan failed to take action on the issue.
