The date for releasing the 18th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi has been announced by the government.
Money will be transferred to the farmers' accounts on October 5
According to the website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 18th installment of money for farmers on 5 October. Under this scheme, the central government provides financial assistance of six thousand rupees annually to the poor farmers of the country. This money is transferred directly to their bank account through DBT. This installment is given to the farmers in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
The scheme was started in 2019
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started by the government in the year 2019. The money received under the scheme is sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers. It is mandatory for all the beneficiary farmers of PM Kisan to get eKYC done. Money will come to your account only after your identity is confirmed through e-KYC. You can verify your identity online through OTP or by visiting a CSC center through your finger or fingerprint or face print.
People who do not have e-KYC will face problems
People who do not have PM Kisan e-KYC may face problems in getting the benefits of the scheme. You can complete e-KYC by visiting the PM Kisan portal with the help of OTP through your mobile number and Aadhaar card. If this is not possible, you can also complete e-KYC by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
The entire system of PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana is between the government and the farmer. In this, after releasing the fund, the government transfers it directly to the farmer's account through banks. This helps in curbing corruption. Earlier, the 17th installment of the scheme was released by the government in the month of July.
