Petrol pumps closed indefinitely in Rajasthan today onwards!

Petrol pumps in Rajasthan have been closed indefinitely from today. People have stopped getting petrol and diesel in the state from 6 am today. Due to this step of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, the common people of the state are facing a lot of problems.

Earlier, on behalf of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, there was a symbolic closure of the pumps on Wednesday and Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm. After the state government did not accept the demands, now the Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association has decided to close the pumps for a certain period from today.

From today, 6900 petrol pumps have been closed in the state. According to reports, talks with Food and Civil Supplies Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas on the demand of reducing VAT like other states remained inconclusive. Gehlot government was not ready to reduce VAT rates. Earlier on Thursday night, long queues of people were seen at petrol pumps.
