NSE BSE 8 October 2021: Stock market: Sensex opened with strength before RBI's announcements, Nifty at 17875

Before the announcement of the decisions taken in the meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the stock market opened on the green mark on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange's major index Sensex opened at 59938.66 with a gain of 260.83 points or 0.44 percent. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange opened at 17875.90 with a gain of 85.60 points (0.48 percent). In early trade, 1624 shares rose, 368 shares declined and 82 shares remained unchanged. The BSE 30-share Sensex fell 1,282.89 points or 2.13 percent last week.

Most of the heavyweights

in a matter of strong stocks, today Tata Steel, M & M, L & T, TCS, Bajaj Auto, Power Grid, Maruti, Dr. Reddy, Reliance, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, NTPC in early trading, Shares of SBI, Asian Paints, ITC, Infosys, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Nestle India, Hindustan Unilever, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Kotak Bank, Titan, and Bharti Airtel opened on the green mark. On the other hand, shares of Bajaj Finance, HCL Tech, HDFC Bank, and Sun Pharma opened on the red mark.

During the pre-open, this was the condition of the stock market

During the pre-open at 9.02 am, the Sensex was up 147.22 points (0.25 percent) at the level of 59825.05. While the Nifty was up 144.20 points (0.81 percent) at 17934.50.

The Sensex opened on the green mark 

On Thursday, the stock market opened on the green mark Thursday. The Sensex opened at 59,652.38 with a gain of 462.65 points or 0.78 percent. On the other hand, Nifty opened at 17,778.90 with a gain of 132.90 points (0.75 percent). 

The market closed on the green mark in the last session. 

In the last session, the stock market closed on the green mark after the day's ups and downs. The Sensex closed at 59,677.83 with a gain of 488.10 points (0.82 percent). On the other hand, Nifty closed at 17,790.35 with a gain of 144.35 points (0.82 percent).
