NSE BSE 5 October 2021: Share market: Sensex opened 72 points down on weak global cues, Nifty also declined
Due to weak global cues, the stock market opened on the red mark on Tuesday, the second trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange's major index Sensex opened at 59,227.24, down 72.08 points or 0.12 percent. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange opened with a decline of 23 points (0.23 percent) at 17,668.30. In early trade, 1223 shares rose, 642 shares declined and 110 shares remained unchanged. The BSE 30-share Sensex fell 1,282.89 points or 2.13 percent last week.

While L&T, Power Grid, M&M, Axis Bank, Tata Steel, NTPC, Bajaj Finance, Sun Pharma, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finserv, TCS, SBI, Dr. Reddy's, ICICI Bank, HCL Tech, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Titan shares opened on the red mark.
