NSE BSE 4 October 2021: Market opens positive, Sensex crosses 59 thousand
Today the stock market opened on the green mark on the first trading day of the week i.e. Monday. The Bombay Stock Exchange's major index Sensex opened at 59060.48 with a gain of 294.90 points or 0.50 percent. On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange opened at 17615.80 with a gain of 83.80 points (0.48 percent). In early trade, 1516 shares rose, 339 shares declined and 133 shares remained unchanged.

This week the stock market will decide the direction of the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) interest rate decision, macroeconomic data, and the global trend. According to analysts, now there are signs of 'correction' in the market. Apart from this, investors will also be watching the volatility of the rupee and bond realization in the US. Crude oil prices will have a huge impact on the Indian markets. Services PMI figures are also to come during the week.

Talking about the big stocks, during the opening trade today, only NTPC, M&M, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finserv, Dr. Reddy's, SBI, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, HDFC, HCL Tech, Reliance, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, Maruti, Sun Pharma, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Kotak Bank, ITC, UltraTech Cement, Power Grid, TCS, Asian Paints, and L&T shares opened on the green mark. On the other hand, shares of Hindustan Unilever, Nestle India, Tata Steel, and Titan opened on the red mark.

During the pre-open, the Sensex was up 126.96 points (0.22 percent) at 58892.54 at 9.02 am. While the Nifty was up 108.20 points (0.62 percent) at 17640.20.

The stock market opened on the red mark on Friday. The Sensex opened at 58732.10, down 394.26 points or 0.67 percent. At the same time, the Nifty opened at the level of 17508.20 with a fall of 110 points (0.62 percent).
