Delhi government has made a big announcement for women, in which it has been said that women living in Delhi will now get a monthly grant of one thousand rupees. Delhi government has made this important announcement in its budget. Delhi Finance Minister Atishi presented the budget and said that every woman above 18 years of age will be given financial assistance from the government. After this announcement, women in Delhi are now demanding answers on how they can apply for this scheme.

Announcement in the Budget:

Delhi government has named this scheme Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana, which will provide financial assistance every month to women living in Delhi. While presenting the budget, Finance Minister Atishi said that just as a brother or father gives money to his sister or daughter for expenses, in the same way, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has decided to provide financial help every month to the sisters and daughters of Delhi through this scheme. 

How to Apply:

Although detailed information about this scheme was not given during the budget speech, later detailed information about this scheme was given in the press conference of Atishi and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. During this conference, Chief Minister Kejriwal himself explained the application process for this scheme. He said that women will only have to give a self-declaration form to apply. In this manifesto, women will have to tell that they are not getting government pensions, they are not in government jobs and do not pay taxes. Random checks will be conducted upon this announcement.

The Chief Minister of Delhi said that the process of implementing this scheme will start after the Lok Sabha elections this year. He said that it will be presented in the cabinet and the scheme will be implemented in the coming months. This step is expected to give a big boost to Delhi's economy.
