Punishment for destroying railway property by fire or explosion
If an accused sets fire to railway property or tries to destroy it through an explosion, he may have to pay a fine along with a 10-year sentence. Please note that action can be taken under Section 164 of the Railway Act, 1989 for spreading fire or carrying inflammable items in the train.
