Gold Price Today: Today on January 8, this is the price of 22 carat and 24 carat gold!
Ten grams of 24-carat gold in India today stands at Rs 48,510 as on January 8 at Rs 48,830 after a fall of Rs 320 from yesterday's selling price. On the other hand, one kg of silver is selling at Rs 60,400, which is Rs 200 less than yesterday's purchase price of Rs 60,600.

According to the Good Returns website, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is bought and sold in Mumbai and New Delhi for Rs 46,510 and Rs 46,750 respectively. The price of gold in Chennai and Kolkata today reached Rs 44,860 and Rs 46,750 in the same quantity.
According to the rate of 24 carat gold, 10 grams of gold is being bought in the national capital for Rs 51,000 and in the financial capital, the same quantity of gold is being bought for Rs 48,510. However, 24 carat purity gold is being sold for Rs 49,450 and Rs 48,940 per 10 grams in Kolkata and Chennai.
If you look at other cities including Hyderabad and Bangalore, 10 grams of 24 carat gold is sold for Rs 48,650. Meanwhile, 22 carat purity is being bought for Rs 44,600 in both these southern cities.
In Lucknow and Kerala, 22 carat gold is available at Rs 45,400 and Rs 44,600 per 10 grams. Along with this, the price of 24 carat gold in both these cities has reached Rs 48,300 and Rs 48,650 of the same quantity. In Jaipur, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 46,890 per 10 grams and the same quantity of 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 49,190 per 10 grams.
A recent update on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) data shows that today gold futures rose by 0.01 per cent to Rs 47,455.00, while silver futures also rose 0.40 per cent to Rs 60,667.00.
