Gold Price Today: Today on January 6, the price of 22 carats and 24 carat gold, know the price of your city


Today, January 6, the selling price of 24 carat 10 grams of gold in India is Rs 49,080, which is a drop of Rs 180 as compared to yesterday's purchase price. Similarly, silver is selling at Rs 61,400 per kg after a fall of Rs 900 from yesterday's purchase price of Rs 62,300.

The cost price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold in New Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 47,300 and Rs 47,080. At the same time, the price of gold in the same quantity in Kolkata and Chennai reached Rs 47,250 and Rs 45,350 respectively.

According to the Good Returns website, the trading price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold in New Delhi is Rs 51,580. Whereas the price of gold in Mumbai for the same quantity is Rs 49,080. However, today gold is being sold for Rs 49,950 and Rs 49,480 in Kolkata and Chennai.


The revised update from Hyderabad and Bengaluru states that 24 carat gold is being sold for Rs 49,250 for 10 grams and 22 carat gold is being bought and sold for Rs 45,150 in both the southern cities.

Apart from this, 22 carat 10 grams of gold is being bought in Jaipur and Lucknow at Rs 47,250 and Rs 45,800 respectively. Not only this, the price of 24-carat gold in these two cities has reached Rs 49,500 and the same quantity has reached Rs 48,700. In Kerala, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought for Rs 45,150 and 24 carat gold for Rs 49,250.

Data from the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) showed that gold futures fell 0.42 per cent to Rs 47,818.00 and silver futures also fell 1.30 per cent to Rs 61,432.00.
