The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold in India on Saturday, January 15 touched Rs 48,980, a decline of Rs 120 from yesterday's purchase price of Rs 49,100. Silver prices rose by Rs 200 to Rs 62,200 per kg.

The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold in New Delhi is Rs 47,150 while in Mumbai the price for the same quantity is Rs 46,980. In Chennai, 22 carat 10 grams gold is trading at Rs 45,450. According to Good Returns website, its cost price in Kolkata is Rs 47,300.
If we look at the price of 24 carat gold, then the price of 10 grams of gold in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 51,440 and Rs 48,980 respectively. The same quantity is being sold in Kolkata for Rs 50,000 and in Chennai for Rs 49,590.
The cost of 10 grams of 22 carat gold in Kerala is Rs 45,000 while the cost of the same 24 carat gold is Rs 49,100. In Jaipur and Ahmedabad, 22 carat gold is being sold for Rs 47,200 and Rs 46,500 respectively. The cost of 10 grams of 24 carat purity is Rs 49,400 and Rs 49,070 respectively.
In Bangalore and Hyderabad, 22 carat gold is being bought at Rs 45,000 per 10 grams. Moreover, the 24 karat purity of the same quantity is priced at Rs 49,100 in both the southern cities.
In Lucknow and Mangaluru, 24 carat gold is being sold for Rs 48,700 and Rs 49,100, while 10 grams of 22 carat purity is selling for Rs 45,800 and Rs 45,000.
