Gold Price Today: Today on January 10, this is the price of 22 carat and 24 carat gold!


On January 10, 10 grams of 24-karat gold in India touched Rs 48,610, an increase of Rs 10 from yesterday's price of Rs 48,600. On the other hand, one kg of silver is being bought and sold for Rs 60,700.


The price of gold in the country varies daily due to factors including state tax, making charges and excise duty. Below is a list of top Indian cities and their gold rates as on January 10:
In New Delhi and Mumbai, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being bought for Rs 46,760 and Rs 46,610. Similarly, according to the Good Returns website, gold prices in Kolkata and Chennai are Rs 46,860 and Rs 44,930 respectively.
As far as 24 carat gold is concerned, 10 grams of 24 carat gold is being sold for Rs 48,610 and Rs 51,010 in Mumbai and New Delhi. Similarly, gold of 24 carat purity in Kolkata and Chennai is priced at Rs 49,560 and Rs 49,010 respectively.
In other cities like Lucknow and Patna, 10 grams of 24 carat gold is being bought today at Rs 48,310 and Rs 48,350 respectively. In both the cities, 22 carat gold is being bought in equal quantity for Rs 45,410 and Rs 45,850.


In Hyderabad and Bangalore, 10 grams of 24 carat purity gold is being bought for Rs 48,660 and 22 carat gold for Rs 44,610. In Kerala, 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 48,660 for 10 grams while 22 carat gold for the same quantity is Rs 44,610.

According to the latest list of Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) data, the futures price of gold rose by 0.01 percent to Rs 47,455.00. However, silver futures also saw a rise of 0.40 percent and are currently at Rs 60,667.00.​​​​​​​
