CSEET May Exam: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has started the registration process for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) May 2025 session. Eligible candidates who wish to appear in the entrance examination can visit the official website of ICSI for detailed information. The exam is scheduled on May 3, 2025, and the last date to fill the application form is April 15, 2025. Applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000 to complete the registration. This exam is conducted for admission to the Company Secretary course.

The Executive Entrance Examination will evaluate students on the basis of four subjects – Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. The exam will be conducted in remote proctored mode from anywhere across the country, where students will be monitored online by invigilators.

To pass the Company Secretary Entrance Examination, candidates need to get a total of 50 percent and at least 40 percent marks in each paper. The institute has also made it clear that candidates will have to enter the calculator, pen/debit card in the CSEET. Pencil, Paper/Paper Using the notebook will not be permitted. The University Grants Commission (UGC) considers the CS qualification to be equivalent to a postgraduate degree.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have passed class 12 or will appear in the class 12 exam are eligible to register for the CSEET. Candidates who are exempted from taking the CS entrance exam include students who have qualified the foundation level of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, final pass candidates from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Graduates and Post Graduates with a minimum of 50 percent marks. These students do not need to appear for CSEET and can directly take admission in the CS Executive Program. CSEET is conducted in four sessions a year during January, May, July, and November.
