Bank locker: Extended date for bank locker agreement, RBI decided

Your account is also in SBI Bank and you use SBI's locker only, then there is a very useful news for you and that is that you will have to sign the new bank locker agreement as per the new rules of bank locker. RBI has extended the process of renewal of locker agreement for all banks.

Customers having lockers at bank branches will have to sign the revised locker agreement by June 30, 2023. RBI has decided to extend the deadline for banks to complete the process for existing safe deposit locker customers in a phased manner till December 31, 2023.

Customers who have not yet signed the locker agreement can also complete the signing process by December 31, 2023. In such a situation, you also have to complete this work in time.
