Axis Bank: Now more interest will be available on FD, Axis Bank has increased this much

If you are thinking of getting FD to improve your future, then there is good news for you. The news is that Axis Bank has now increased the interest rates on FDs of less than Rs 2 crore. Axis Bank has now increased the interest on FD by 0.40 percent.

These new interest rates of Axis Bank have come into effect from Friday. Significantly, last month, the repo rate was increased by the Reserve Bank of India to control inflation. Since then many banks had increased the interest on their FDs.

According to the official website of Axis Bank, the bank has increased the interest rate of FDs by 13 months and less than two years by 40 basis points. Axis Bank has increased the interest on this from 6.75 percent to 7.15 percent. Now 7.26 percent interest is being offered by the bank on FDs ranging from 2 years to 30 months.
