Anil Ambani's company Reliance Power has received a big order. Reliance has announced that it has received an order for a 500 MW battery storage project through an e-reverse auction organized by the Solar Energy Corporation of India. According to information received from the company, the e-auction was held on September 11, 2024, in which Reliance Power secured a contract for 500 MW battery energy storage. Under this order, Reliance Power has been given a 1,0000 MW single battery as part of the initiative to increase energy storage. The delivery point for this renewable energy project received by the company will be 400 kV Fatehgarh, PS, Rajasthan.  

As soon as the news came, the shares rocketed  

As soon as Reliance Power got information about this order, the company's shares started rising. On Monday, Reliance Power's shares hit an upper circuit. On Monday, Reliance Power's share opened at 30.30 and after receiving the order, it reached a high of 31.32 rupees. On Tuesday too, the share opened sharply and reached 31.51 rupees as soon as it opened.  

Investors became rich  

Reliance Power shares have made investors rich. The shares of the debt-ridden company have given a return of 2671 percent in 4 and a half years. On 27 March 2020, Reliance Power shares had reached Rs 1.13. After 4 and a half years, it has reached Rs 31.32. That means, a person who had invested Rs 1 lakh in this share at that time would have got Rs 27.71 today.
